Oh, that is so sad that the soldier and his family were separated. You thought so carefully about how they would be feeling and gave specific examples in your writing like, "I can see a small figure of him in my head" and "I can feel his love around the room." You could make it even more vivid by saying what the figure in your head looks like, is he in a uniform or laughing or crying. Keep up the great mahi
