What do I see?

What do I see? I see
Sand as white as a peace of paper.

What do I see? I see
Little bunches of grass placed in lines across the sand.

What do I see? I see
Huge white clouds that look like candyfloss.

What do I see? I see
A deep blue ocean that pushes its waves towards the land.

What do I see? I see
Land so far away that i could forget it was there with the blink of an eye.

My Blossom Tree Poem

The Blossom Tree

It has branches like brooms
Pink flowers that bloom
birds that whistle like the call of the sky
Oh The Blossom Tree
It's a wonderful tree full of flowers and leafs
Oh The Blossom Tree
It's a tree full of pink and it might
make you think of candyfloss
Oh The Blossom Tree

My lock down reflection

Hi i am Franki

Lock down at my house has been pretty crazy. I have learnt and noticed so many things.
I have noticed that we don't need Takeaways all the time it is still nice to have a treat but Takeaways are not something my family really needs. I have learn't that love and kindness is something we should treasure especially at a time like this. I have learn't that we should value family time as it is very special. New Zealand should be so happy to have a strong prime minister like Jacinda Ardern I know I am happy. We should be grateful for our essential workers and what a big job they have in new Zealand. I learnt that New Zealand can survive a time like this. I noticed that people on my street are essential workers to. I think my family and NZ have done very well for the past 2 months. I have learnt that I can read a range of different books and can do so many different things. I have spent this time in lock down finding myself and discovering things about me. I have discovered that I like new home made meals and love spending time with my parents and family. Of course I missed my friends and other people in my family but I got to learn how important our health and community is. I am proud that i have tried super hard to survive lock down and that  putting New Zealand in lock down was a good choice.I have treasured this time and I will always remember how strong our country is. At first I was very scared but now I know that I am safe in this caring and loving community.
